Pure Composites Division

Lankhorst Pure Composites produces and sells PURE®: an all-polypropylene self-reinforced composite material. PURE® is characterised by high stiffness, low weight, high impact strength and 100% recyclability. Lankhorst Pure Composites is located in The Netherlands (Sneek) and consists of R&D, production and marketing/sales activities.

The patent protected technology can be applied to markets such as automotive, consumer, antiballistic, construction and protection. Core of the technology is the extrusion department producing the tape. PURE® is available as tape, woven fabric and consolidated sheets. It can be used to mould or construct various composite applications and components. Moulded parts can be produced by thermoforming from fabric or sheets. 

The thermoforming pilot plant is an important asset in Lankhorst Pure Composites. In this pilot plant different processes to produce PURE® parts and/or components can be demonstrated and investigated. With this facility customers can be assisted in finding the right parameters for their own component production.
