For decades Lankhorst supplies all kind of twines for horticulture. Started with natural fibres as jute, hemp and sisal they stood at the cradle of extruding twine out of  polypropylene and polyethylene raw material. That’s why they build up an enormous experience in what goes on in that specific market. There changed a lot in horticulture ‘under glass’ which moved to a high tech industry and that asked for another approach in making and using twine. Remember the introduction of the pre-winded tomato hook which growers use all over the world.

We still supply natural twines, bio-degradable, as done for many years, but also our very soft quality PP twine ELITE® PP Horti Twine. And we stay very curious about new developments in the horticultural market and are highly interested in all kind of changes in applications and systems.
